For Captain Blake, fishing is a lifelong passion. Growing up on the waters of New Smyrna Beach, he was hooked on fishing at a young age. Today, he passes that same love for the water down to his son, competing in local tournaments and fishing for fun every chance he gets.You can unwind on an inshore trip through the Indian River, Captain Blake has the local knowledge to put you on the fish. Captain Blake’s enthusiasm is contagious—making every trip an unforgettable experience. All ages welcome, no experience necessary.
Planning your Charter
The Captain has you covered
The Captain covers rods, reels, bait, and your licenses. After the trip, he’ll also clean and bag your catch free of charge. The Captain will have ice and bottled water on board.
Plan to bring with you
Feel free to bring your snacks, drinks (no glass), a hat, sunshirt, sunglasses, and sunscreen (no spray sunscreen) .
Large Groups
In case you have a large group of up to 15 guests, Capt. Blake can arrange that trip too. He can organize other boats and captains, so there’s a small fleet at your service. This is typically a great solution for team buildings and large family gatherings.

Inshore
Hop aboard an 18’ Beavertail flats boat that accommodates up to 3 guests. Powered by a 90 HP Suzuki outboard engine and a wireless trolling motor and features a live bait tank and a cooler. Since the space on the boat is limited, please don’t bring your cooler – there’s enough room for your drinks and snacks in the captain’s cooler.
Inshore
Explore the Indian River, the Halifax River, and saltwater inshore. Your main targets are Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and Snook, but you can also catch Tarpon, Black Drum, and Flounder. Light tackle and spinning are the most common techniques for catching these fish but you can also try fly fishing. In the case you want to catch fish on a fly, please make sure to bring your equipment.
Offshore
Hop aboard a 26' custom
C-Hawk that accommodates up to 6 guests. Powered by a Suzuki 300 outboard engine and wireless trolling motor, features a live bait tank, fish box and a cooler.
Offshore
Explore deep sea fishing in the Atlantic Ocean. Your targets by trolling are Mahi Mahi, Bonita, Spanish Mackerel, Barracuda, Sailfish, Kingfish, Tuna, Wahoo and by bottom fishing are Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Triggerfish, Grouper (black, goliath, gag, red, and scamp), Amberjack, Cobia, Tripletail, sharks and much more.
